HBO Says No To Netflix

HBO Co-President Eric Kessler has told Netflix thanks but no thanks. In an interview with Bloomberg, he said a deal was highly unlikely that would allow them to stream HBO content.

“There is value in exclusively and consumers are willing to pay for high quality, exclusive content”, Eric said in the interview. HBO plans to start their own online service within the next 6 months to be available to current subscribers.
