‘Eclipse’ Has Record-Breaking Opening Night

“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which debuted Tuesday night with Midnight screenings, broke box office records. The movie did $30 million in box office, on over 4000 screens. That breaks the old record set by ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’, which did $26.3 million when it debuted with midnight screenings in November 2009.

Summit Entertainment is expecting at least $150 million in North American Box office this holiday weekend.
