Dates Set For 2011 DALLAS International Film Festival

The fifth DALLAS International Film Festival will kick off earlier than in previous years, with programming scheduled March 31 – April 10, 2011.

At the close of this year’s Dallas Film Society Honors, executive director Tanya Foster announced the 2011 festival would either open or close at the Winspear Opera House on April 10, depending on the remainder of the schedule. Festival organizers have spoken of further utilization of the new Arts District locations in the 2011 festival.

The newly announced dates are closer than before to the conclusion of the SXSW Film Festival, which is scheduled March 11-19, 2011.
