[VIDEO] Frank Darabont (DIFF’10)

While in town to receive the DALLAS Film Society Star Award during the 2010 DALLAS International Film Festival, the writer/director of “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile” and “The Mist” talks with Red Carpet Crash about breaking into the business, why some directors “get” Stephen King (and others miss the boat), and what is next on tap…

Hey I brought him to that interview room:) Great interview Devin!

I love when he says that Shawshank is “a film that sticks to you like chewing gum” that a perfect way to describe how I feel about it.

I also love how humble he is when he says that he was lucky enough to capture King’s lightning in a bottle. Just a great man with a wealth of knowledge…sure would like to hear more from him!

I could have spoken to him for hours, and been gleeful for each minute. Glad you liked the clip.
