UNT Students Get First Crack At ‘Toy Story 3′
Sneaking movies for college audiences is nothing new. However, Disney and Pixar are taking a special sneak preview of “Toy Story 3″ around to college campuses, including Denton’s University Of North Texas… with a catch.
A special sub-page of the Disney / Pixar Facebook fan page allows people to sign up for a sneak preview of the third “Toy Story” movie, where Woody & Buzz Lightyear’s kid, Andy, heads off to college and ships his epic toy collection to other owners. Signing up for the April 21 screening isn’t enough – you’ll have to bring your valid college ID for admission.
Even if you get in, however, you still won’t see the full movie. The preview is only the first 65 minutes of the full movie; to see the final act of the film, viewers will still have to pay to see the film when it hits theaters on June 18.
People who have seen the final cut of the film are saying the last 15 minutes of the film are phenomenal, so the two-month cliffhanger might seem like torture for the thousands of college students lucky enough to sneak “Toy Story 3,” but what’s a little anticipation?
