‘Alice’ Brings $116 Million Down The Rabbit Hole
“Alice In Wonderland” scored big for Disney, as Tim Burton’s 3D take on Lewis Carroll’s classic earned an estimated $116 million in its opening weekend.
As with “Avatar,” a sizeable chunk of the revenue is estimated to have come from 3D and IMAX exhibitions of the movie (final numbers and percentages will be available on Wednesday).
