Warner Brothers Wises Up, Moves ‘Losers’ Back To April

When we debuted the trailer for “The Losers” at Dallas Comic-Con last month, audience reaction was really positive – moreso than the trailer for the movie you could most likely compare it to, “The A-Team.” Warner Brothers brass probably got a head full of steam when fans went all ga-ga for the trailer online, and moved the film’s release date from April 9 (where it would get a good bit of “no-pressure” release buzz) to June 4, away from the newly-minted release date for “Clash Of The Titans” (undergoing a 3D facelift and due out now on April 9).

Problem is, the June date is one week before “The A-Team” is scheduled for release. You see where this is going.

Fortunately, someone at Warner Brothers was able to shake some sense into the exec that made this boneheaded move, and rolled “The Losers” back to April 23, where its competition will be “MacGruber” and “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.”
