‘Basterds,’ ‘Glee,’ Bridges and Bullock Win Big At SAG Awards

The Screen Actors Guild honored the best in their ranks Saturday night, handing out awards for the best work in movies and television.

Jeff Bridges and Sandra Bullock repeated their wins from last Sunday’s Golden Globes, picking up awards for Best Actor and Best Actress.

The cast of Quentin Tarantino’s World War II movie “Inglorious Basterds” were named Best Ensemble, and Christoph Waltz was named Best Supporting Actor for his work as “The Jew Hunter” Hans Landa.

On the television side of the aisle, breakout sensation “Glee” continues to rake in awards, winning the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Tina Fey won the Best Actress in a Comedy prize for the third successive year for her work on “30 Rock,” and her co-star Alec Baldwin was named Best Actor in a Comedy Series for the fourth year in a row.
