National Geographic Films Gets New President

National Geographic Films has a brand new president. Well, they will on March 15. Daniel Battsek has officially been named as Adam Leipzig’s successor.

Battsek most recently was the head of Disney’s Miramax Films, but he was fired late last year. His name was on the shortlist for Leipzig’s position at NatGeo when Leipzig announced he would be stepping down to produce.

David Beal, president of National Geographic Entertainment, made the announcement earlier today. Battsek will report directly to Beal.

Josh Rollins

Josh Rollins is currently writing his eighth novel, and by eighth we mean first, and by first we mean he's not writing it. Josh does stand-up comedy, radio production, and grocery store clerking, all very poorly. The only thing he is actually pretty good at is watching movies.
