INTERVIEWS: Jeremy Renner, Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal (‘The Hurt Locker’)

Prior to the film’s opening, “The Hurt Locker” was screened at the AFI Dallas Film Festival following honoring director Kathryn Bigelow’s Texas Star Award. In the time since, “The Hurt Locker” has been showered with praise as one of the best films of 2009, and actor Jeremy Renner, writer Mark Boal and Bigelow are all being mentioned as serious contenders for Academy Awards for their work on the film.
