Reality TV Visits ‘Twilight’ Town

As if Forks, Washington, where Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight” books are set, doesn’t get enough attention, it’s about to get its own reality TV show.

Producers are currently casting a show to highlight what life in the self-proclaimed “Home of Twilight” is really like.

Zig Gauthier, one of the producers, says “obviously we won’t be out on the ocean or dealing with that kind of danger, but the idea is to show what life here is really like.  There are a variety of ways we could do this, but of course this is at the very beginning stages.”

Strangely, the show is shying away from the paranormal entirely.  Locals who claim to have actual supernatural experiences are not being considered for the show.  As Gauthier explains, “We want people who have a true connection to the community.  We want to avoid people with outlandish claims.”

No sparkly vampires in this “Home of Twilight”…
