Christmas Day Box Office Report

“Sherlock Holmes” jumped to the top of the Christmas day box office with $24.9 million.

In second place was “Avatar” with $23.5 Million.

In third place “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” with $14.5 million(3 day total so far is $41.4 million).

In fourth place was “It’s Complicated” with $7.1 million.

In fifth place was “Up in the Air”, which expanded wider across the country,  with $3.7 million.
