The Kick-Ass Red Band Trailer For Hit Girl

A few weeks ago, Ain’t It Cool News and the Alamo Drafthouse held their annual Butt-Numb-A-Thon, a day-long festival of classic and new movies. Audiences not only got a first look at “Avatar,” which would debut in two weeks, but were some of the first to watch Matthew Vaughn’s “Kick-Ass.” The movie’s not due out until April 16, and the BNAT audience was hungry for the flick. Word around the campfire is the audience reaction for “Kick-Ass” was stronger than the one for “Avatar.”

We’ve seen the first real trailer for the “superheroes-without-the-powers” action smorgasbord earlier, and now we get out first extended look at Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl, the pint-sized agent of vengeance who steals the whole show. If you’re at work, put on your headphones; if you’re at home, shoo the kids out of the room.
