‘Survival of the Dead’ Gets Date

“Survival of the Dead,” the latest film in the “Night of the Living Dead” series from George A. Romero, has been picked up by Magnet Releasing. It has been given a spring release.

“Survival” debuted at the Venice and Toronto film festivals this year. Magnet will also release the film on VOD platforms a month before it is released in theatres.

In “Survival of the Dead” two powerful families maintain some order following the zombie holocaust. However, the inhabitants of the isolated refuge they know call home begin to slowly die off. This turns the two families against each other, leading to classic Western-like standoff.
