End Of The Road For ‘Wild Hogs’
Who knew Disney would become gun shy of remakes and sequels?
RCC reported last month that the studio, under new head Rich Ross, scrapped plans for the “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” remake, and now “Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride” is no more.
The ever-present phrase “creative challenges” is being thrown around, but rumor has it that “getting a production start on a Mouse House film will be a huge challenge if it doesn’t squarely fit the Disney family branded model.”
“Wild Hogs 2” joins Robin Williams and Anna Faris’ “Wedding Banned” as the second Touchstone film whose production has been stopped by Disney this month.
And it doesn’t help that last film for Disney from “Wild Hogs” director Walt Becker, “Old Dogs,” tanked at the box office.

Wow…there IS a god. =o
