“Daybreakers” Vampires Go Viral
Believe it or not, there’s another vampire movie out there – “Daybreakers.†The feature from Lionsgate which stars Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill, is due out in theaters January 10, 2010, and is about a world where vampires have overrun the world and humans are farmed for blood. You could almost think of it as a bit of “The Matrix†by way of “Draculaâ€
Without an army of teeny-boppers to push it, “Daybreakers†has gone the viral route releasing videos to You Tube and creating a website to “help capture humans.†All in all, it looks interesting and may very well be worth a peek come January.
