Redneck Horror at Sundance

Redneck Horror at Sundance

Could it be that there’s a horror movie comes out that has hillbillies in it that is NOT being made by Rob Zombie? And that is entertaining.? The last question remains to be seen, but the answer to the first is, “yes, there is,” and it’s coming to Sundance.

“Tucker & Dale vs Evil” features Alan Tudyk (“Firefly”) and Tyler Labine (“Zack and Miri Make a Porno”) as the title characters, two innocent rednecks mistaken for psycho killers by a group of college kids. It’s the sophomore effort from director Eli Craig, who previously directed “The Tao of Pong.”

I love the grindhouse-y feel of the poster and the trailer looks like the film could be lots of fun. I’m crossing my fingers for this one.
