New ‘Robin Hood’ Trailer Brings The Noise
Even after Kevin Costner went sans green tights in his turn as Robin Hood, it’s still customary to think of the savior of Sherwood Forest clad in green stretchy bits and a feathered green cap. That perception will be shattered once more after Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe get hold of it with next year’s “Robin Hood.”
The big-budget battle between Robin of Locksley and the Sheriff of Nottingham, starring Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Mark Strong, William Hurt, Danny Huston, Matthew Macfayden, Kevin Durand, and Max Von Sydow, released a slew of production pics over the weekend (showing up on the Australian Courier-Mail site). Now, after a couple of false-starts, the first teaser trailer is online, filled with heavy guitar, quick cuts, and a couple of arrows:
