Galifianakis, Adams Move In To “Town House”
Fox 2000′s “Town House” has been on the shelf for quite some time. John Carney agreed to direct to film in July 2007, but then the Writer’s Strike happened, stalling the project. It appears to be back on track, however. Reportedly, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Adams are currently in talks to star in the dramedy.
“Town House” is based on the novel of the same name by Tish Cohen. It centers on an agoraphobic man and his teenage son living in a…townhouse. Who would’ve seen that coming? The man inherited the house and tons of money from his rock star dad. With a life that’s been easy, he is forced to grow up when funds begin to run low. That’s when he meets a girl.
It appears this Ridley Scott produced film will be released in summer of 2010. The star that is Zach Galifianakis continues to rise. Let’s hope he doesn’t burn out.
