‘Cash Cab’ Gets Syndication Deal

Discovery Channel’s taxi cab game show “Cash Cab” has signed a syndication deal with MGM Domestic Television. MGM has plans to begin airing the quiz show on broadcast television next fall.

MGM believes that “Cash Cab” has all the tools that broadcast networks are looking for.

If you haven’t seen this awesome show, it’s based in New York City. Unsuspecting passengers get into host Ben Bailey’s taxi and find themselves in the middle of a game show. They then have until they reach their destination to win as much money as possible. It’s a pretty creative idea, and people who don’t have cable need to watch this show. Thankfully, MGM will make that possible for them.
