The New Face Of Pepsi
Pepsi CEO Indra K. Nooyi announced Monday in a press conference that Pepsi would no longer be spending big bucks on major advertising for the popular soda. Nooyi said that she believes that people know just how good Pepsi is. She also stated that there was not a “Cola War” between Pepsi and Coca Cola. Nooyi pointed out that anyone that said Coke tasted good was not wrong.
The money that Pepsi was spending for the marketing will now be going to various charities as well as serving as a bonus for the minimum wage factory workers employed by Pepsi.
Toward the end of the confrence Nooyi apologized for going off on a tangent and encouraged everyone to spend more time with their families. Sounds like the new face of Pepsi will be focusing on the bonds of family.
