Reality Bites: Kate Gosselin, Jessica Simpson

Over this past weekend, reality tv star mom / divorcee Kate Gosselin began filming a talk show with Food Network’s Paula Deen and several other important moms. The show will use a panel format, featuring working moms. Rene Syler (former CBS 11 Dallas news anchor) and Lee Woodruff (“Good Morning America”) will also appear on the show’s panel.

At a recent appearance, Kate remarked, “I’ve been given the gift of gab, so why not use it? It’s sort of a career move, so I had to do it.” No other details about the show, such as a name, were given.

Actress / musician / quarterback albatross Jessica Simpson has left her posh L.A. digs behind and traveled to Uganda in Africa to film the reality show “The Price of Beauty” for VH1. Details of the show other than the title have not yet been released.

However, Simpson tweeted, “WTF do I really have to sleep like this?” The singer also added a picture of her poking her head out of a mosquito net sans make-up. The next day the star appeared to be getting used to her surroundings in Africa.
