Japanese ’2012′ Trailer Gives You Even More Disaster Porn

I have a perverse need to watch Roland Emmerich’s movies. With every movie where he destroys the world (and the White House) over and over again, there’s a little anarchist inside me, cheering him on. “Go, Roland! I don’t care if you’re making up technobabble like ‘super-cooled air from the troposphere.’ Blow it all up!” As my mentor Joe Bob Briggs used to say, there’s just enough plot to not get in the way of the story.

The Japanese got a special Emmerich-flavored treat this week, as they got a new trailer for Roland’s latest middle finger to civilization, “2012.” Quite a few new sequences are hinted at, so get your disaster porn on:
