Gird Your Loins For ‘Venture Brothers’ Season Four
When I started watching “The Venture Brothers,” I thought it was going to be a simple parody of ’60s animated adventure shows like “Jonny Quest.” Sweet Buddha, was I wrong. The show sends up every known convention in so many spy and action films – mad scientists, evil overlords, daft kids, and the henchmen. Ooh, the henchmen.
At a time when Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim division is trying desperately to dilute its brand with cheesy live-action shows, Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer keep giving “Venture Brothers” fans reason after reason to return to the network.
Here’s the trailer for Season Four, which hits CN in November. If you aren’t a fan of the show, get thee to a Movie Trading Company, or start renting the previous seasons on Netflix. It’s that good.
